today i spied a squirrel in the birdbath,
whilst snapping shots, a ‘blur’ came into view,
and shifting focus to the small blur’s path,
this hummingbird did thrill me through and through …

yet another ‘accidental’ guest before my lens! this time i had that split nanosecond to focus on its face … my first hummingbird was ‘in the shadows’ and now this one in full light - sheer delight … /smile
